10th June 2007 - Cosford Air Show
617 cadets visit Cosford Air Show this year to assist with promoting the Air Cadet Organisation. Cadets took part in modelling, running a model aircraft flight simulator, marshalling and of course looking around the Air Show.

1st - 3rd June 2007 - Wing Field Weekend
Cadets from 617 attended Wing Field Weekend. During the weekend cadets took part in a wide range of activities including Climbing, Orienteering, Smartest Squadron, Smartest Cadet, Drill Competition, Archery, paintballing, Assault Course, Helicopter Flying and much more.
